30th Birthday Celebration
July 13 - December 31
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville has been providing essential resources and a “home-away-from-home” for families with critically ill children for 30 years. We are taking this opportunity to look back on our 30-year history and celebrate all that is to come. We have a big birthday wish this year – to raise $30,000! Join other donors who have been impacted by the House in celebrating our 30th birthday with a donation of $30 – that’s $1 for each year of comfort, care, and compassion.
How You Can Help:
Rock-a-Tee – Order your 30th Birthday Celebration t-shirt today for $30 and encourage your company, church, school, sports team, community group, and friends to do the same so you can Rock-Your-Tee together! T-shirts will be available for pickup at the House 7 days a week from 8am-8pm or, if you don’t live in Nashville, we will be happy to ship them to you.
Celebration Pennant – For a donation of $300 your 30th Birthday Celebration pennant will be permanently hung on the fence of our playground to support children and their families. This new pennant fence (courtesy of Harbor Entertainment) is a place to honor loved ones or to leave words of encouragement and lift the spirits of the families staying at the Nashville Ronald McDonald House. Your message will have a special place on our fence, and your gift will also help us continue serving families for years to come.
Sponsorship – Ranging from $300 to $30,000, these sponsorship packages allow your company name to be associated with the 30th Birthday Celebration.
Start or join a Fundraising Team – In honor of this milestone birthday, we have set a goal to raise $30,000 by July 31. Please join our mission with the gift of $30 – that’s just $1 for every year of support – or any amount you are able to give. All money raised stays at RMHC of Nashville! Fundraising pages are easy to build on our 30th Birthday Fundraising Website.

Celebrate with Us!
We believe 30 years of serving families is something to celebrate, so we’re kicking off the birthday festivities early! Throughout the month of July, we’ll reflect on our history, celebrate our future, and create some fun for everyone with a virtual spirit month! To make this celebration all we dreamed of, we’re hoping you can send your love from a distance. Pictures are encouraged, having fun is required!
Spirit Month Schedule
Week 1 (July 5 – 11): Throwback
Yup, we’re going through our archives and throwing it back to 1991! Wear your favorite 90s attire, recreate a family photo from the 90s, or, for our longtime supporters, dig up old pictures and memories of the Nashville House from long ago. Let’s reminisce!
Week 2 (July 12 – 18): Birthday Week!
Let’s celebrate our July 13th birthday! Chalk, draw, dance, sing, and send RMHC of Nashville a birthday message.
Week 3 (July 19 – 25): Get Sporty for Thirty
Get moving this week! Run, bike, walk or skip for 30 minutes, do 30 laps around your block, or give us 30 jumping jacks every day this week – anything to keep your family healthy and active. After all, RMHC promotes healthy kids and healthy families!
Week 4 (July 26 – 31) Show Your Spirit
Rock your 30th Birthday t-shirt to show your RMHC pride. Take a picture with a family member, a pet, a prop, or find other creative ways to show your spirit! (Another way to show your spirit is to commit to a $30 donation supporting RMHC of Nashville)
Show us your RMHC of Nashville pride by emailing pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org, tagging us (@RMHCNashville on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter), or messaging pictures on either platform.
