Meal Program

Our Meal Program provides families staying at the Nashville Ronald McDonald House with comforting and hearty meals while they focus on their sick children in the hospital.

Finding the time and energy to prepare a meal can be a challenge when having a sick child in the hospital. The families staying at the Nashville Ronald McDonald House appreciate a hot, home-cooked during such a critical time. By providing a meal at the Nashville Ronald McDonald House, families can focus on their loved ones in the hospital and have one less thing to worry about. There are a variety of different ways to get involved with providing meals for families. Learn more about these opportunities below.

Ways to Get Involved

Guest Chef Experience

Put your best culinary skills to use by preparing a meal for families in our kitchen during a scheduled mealtime.

Dump 'n' Go

Don't have time to cook, but still want to provide a warm meal for families? Purchase the ingredients for a one-pot slow cooker recipe, drop the ingredients off at the House, and House Staff members will take care of the rest!

Cook Out

Forget the oven and fire up the grill! Using our outdoor gas grill, volunteer meal groups can provide a meal for families during a scheduled mealtime.

Taste of Home

A general donation towards our Taste of Home program can help provide families with the comfort of a warm meal!

Cater-a-Meal

Volunteer meal groups can provide a meal for our families by catering through a local restaurant and having it delivered or dropped off at the House during a scheduled mealtime

Gift Card Donation

Volunteer meal groups can provide a meal for our families by donating local fast-food and restaurant gift cards for single family use. Any amount is appreciated!

Stock Our Pantry

Help stock our refrigerator and pantry by donating items from our House Wish List for families to have on the go!

Homecookin'

From your stove to our House - volunteer meal groups can provide a meal for families by cooking any meal they'd like and dropping it off at the House during a scheduled mealtime.

*NOTE: Meal Program Waiver & Agreement

All individuals participating in Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Nashville’s Meal Program must complete a Meal Program Waiver & Agreement prior to a meal date.

Make a Difference for Families & Children

Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
