The Wishing Tree is a holiday angel-tree program to support our mission of caring for families who have a critically ill child during the holiday season. It is the perfect way for groups to make the holidays a little bit brighter for families staying with us. Participating groups receive printable ornaments to distribute among members or to hang on a tree. Each ornament contains gift ideas needed for a child or caregiver, or household items needed to keep RMHC programs running. When gifts are received, they are placed in our Holiday Marketplace where families staying at the House can “shop” for their sick children as well as their siblings – making it easier on them during such a critical time.
As a way to take away the financial burden for parents dealing with a critically ill child, our Wishing Tree program offers a meaningful holiday activity for companies, schools, and groups of all sizes. Check out the 2024 Wishing Tree packet to find this year’s Holiday Wish List and ornaments.
